A legacy of faithfor future generations

“The invisible things of God that have been made visible through images since the creation of the world.”
St. John of Damascus

It is a great joy to share that we have the blessed opportunity to embark on the final phase of completing our Sanctuary beautification. The Church, the place we gather for worship, is a reflection of God's love for us and is the place where we find heaven and earth coming together. Here, we stand in His presence, adoring and offering ourselves to Him.

Our Beautiful Iconography.

The iconographer is Leonidas Diamantopoulos, the same iconographer by whose hand all the existing iconography was written. Mr. Diamantopoulos is preparing the icons in his studio in Greece and will come to Holy Trinity Dallas to oversee their installation.

The first (1st) phase of the project began in 1995 with the marble Iconostasis, Bishop's throne, Amvon (pulpit), Chanter stand, and items in the Narthex, as well as some of the Platytera mosaic and main Icons in the altar area; plus, all the exterior mosaics. In 2002-2003, the second (2nd) phase began and included additions of Christ and the 12 Apostles, plus the Prophets and Forefathers. The third (3rd) phase commenced in 2013 with the installation of more icons in the altar area and both the east & west transepts, which was completed in September 2015. The fourth (4th) phase, which installed the icons in the remainder of the nave and balcony, was completed in September/October 2017.

How Can I Join this Historical Moment?

We recognize that everyone may not be able to offer the full cost of an icon at this point, and for this reason, whatever financial gift you are able to provide will go toward the general interior beautification of the Sanctuary.

Give a legacy gift knowing that this offering will stand until the Lord returns in glory.

On behalf of the Iconography Committee, we are very grateful for your support and appreciate any contribution to this important milestone in our Parish. The generations to follow that will enter Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will benefit long into the future.

We are deeply grateful for the donations we have already received to make this project possible. We were blessed to have so many members of our parish individually, as families, and through our many organizations participate in the past, and we pray you will support this final phase of the Iconography project, thereby returning to our Church the blessings and gifts we have received from the Lord.

We thank you for your support of this project and for all that you do for Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox community of Dallas, Texas!
